Geo
[Desu's Revenge] Nature: Quiet Evs:252 HP / 252 Sp attack / 4 Def Item: Leftovers / Life orb Moves: Shadow ball Hidden Power [Fighting] Trick Room Energy ball/ Destiny bond Beware of Desukan, calling him a fag leads you to death. This is a great Trick room user and having bulk makes it more of an user of it then Rankurusu despite lack of Magic Guard. After ze mummy activates Trick room, its able to late game sweep and dismantle things like Doryuuzu easily If they don't dance. Hidden power fighting and Shadow ball provides coverage against things like T-tar and othe Dark types. Energy ball can mess over water in rain teams and checks Swampert and Rotom-W. However that your advantage with Leftovers, If you using Life orb then you need to Suicide with Destiny bond instead of using Energy ball incase you manage to live a crit with Low Hp or half Hp. A Pink Cheetah
CofaCalmMind Cofagrigus (M/F) @ Leftovers Trait: Mummy EVs: 188 HP/ 68 Special Attack/ 252 Special Defense Modest Nature - Calm Mind - Energy Ball - Hidden Power Fighting - Shadow Ball Cofagrigus is the walliest Ghost type under Ubers. With base 145 defense and 105 special defense, it can take all but the most powerful of attacks at neutral power. Calm Mind to boost its special defense even higher, HP Fighting and Shadow Ball for perfect coverage, and Energy Ball is just to hit harder against Quag, Swampert, and other Grass weak Pokemon. Zen
Classical cofagrigus. --- Cofagrigus (M/F) @ Leftovers/Rocky Helmet Trait: Mummy EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef Nature: Modest (+SAtk, - Atk) - Hex - Will-O-Wisp - Haze - Pain Split --- Standard status/Hex combo, with Haze and burns to jam setups (especially physical ones). Mummy's great to take out scizor's Technician. If against normal-types, just burn and follow up with a Pain Split when needed.
The Fush
Just gonna implement my own set here: Cofagrigus (M/F) @ Leftovers Trait: Mummy EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Toxic - Swagger - Protect - Night Shade Right from the start, this shows that Cofagrigus can be both a good physical AND special wall. Combine with this Swagger, Toxic and Protect, and you have yourself a stalling legend. On the first turn, you start off by using Swagger or Toxic, and then using the other one after protecting, then using Protect, then Night Shade on every other turn. The amount of rage caused by this coffin is legendary, since with Swagger and Toxic eating away while you're protecting and throwing in Night Shades (which doesn't require a SpAtk investment!), which means the odds are incredibly against the enemy's favour... and we all know how much of a factor luck is in battling. Shanco
BULK Cofagrigus (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Mummy EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) / Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd) - Shadow Ball - Hidden Power [Fighting] - Calm Mind - Rest Meet 5th generation's TANK: Cofagrigus. (Okay Hydreigon might have it beat there.) But in terms of Defense, no other Ghost type or 5th gen Pokemon has it beat. The best way to put it to good use is to throw it right in front of a fighting-type like Machamp. (I avoid saying Conkeldurr as it often has Payback) Once you have Calm Mind set up, you have a nice mixed wall, in addition to some offensive power. Then you get the chance to fire away relentless attacks upon your opponent with little fear of dying. Shadow Ball is the STAB while Hidden Power [Fighting] keeps you from getting walled once you reach +4 or so. Cofagrigus will bulky enough to survive two turns of Rest, avoiding status along the way.
Shanco
TRY THIS! COTHUGRIGUS DOESN'T APPROVE! Cothugrigus (Cofagrigus) (M) @ Lefovers Trait: Mummy EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Trick Room - Nasty Plot - Shadow Ball - Hidden Power [Fighting] Many people have fallen victim to the sweeping Cofagrigus which I possess, and people who have faced it multiple times, such as James and Conor, are all too familiar forfeiting two or three Pokemon to this demon. It has enough power to one- or two-shot many offensive Pokemon after a Nasty Plot, and this set takes advantage of such. The way you set up is Nasty Plot then Trick Room (as Cofagrigus can deal with it), but the order can be reversed if the Pokemon before you seems to be a threat to 2HKO (which isn't that common). After that, Shadow Ball and Hidden Power [Fighting] provide flawless coverage, meaning there is a lot that Cofagrigus kills. What's even better is the number of Pokemon in UU, which happens to be chock full of Fighting-types, which our coffin friend can switch into and set up on without much of a problem: Machamp can't even 2HKO it with Payback, Huge Power Azumarill's Aqua Jet is laughable, and a bunch of other things can't resist just giving it the opportunity to set up. Jory
Soon you'll be using TM21 Tutenkhamen (Cofagrigus) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Mummy EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Will-O-Wisp - Shadow Ball - Pain Split - Power Split IVs: 0 SAtk I know what you're thinking. "What the actual fuck is Power Split doing anywhere near competitive battling?" I'll tell you what it's doing: neutering special attackers. Say your opponent thinks he's hot shit when you send in this monster on his Mienshao. He'll be like, "lol dis n00b will nevr c mai volcarona comin lololol". Luckily, you're not some half-assed rookie who thinks a Mienshao's staying in to hit you with HP Ice. So you use Power Split, dropping that fucker's Special Attack like a rock while raising yours at the same time. Now you can smash that idiot with a Shadow Ball thanks to your new Special Attack stat, which has been averaged with your opponent's. Will-O-Wisp is to further frustrate physical attackers and wall people who try to set up. Pain Split is for recovery (same with Lefties). Shanco
Hate to burst your bubble, but there's probably a better Pokemon to use Power Split with Cofagrigus's Special Attack being 95 base. Ideally, you'd want the user's Special Attack to be low, to maximize the effect of neutering the opponent's offensive stats. If you're going to use Power Split, it has to be a stalling set (similar to what Baka has), because Shadow Ball still isn't going to do as much as it should. Shgo
Cofagrigus (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Mummy EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Rest - Sleep Talk - Will-O-Wisp - Shadow Ball / Hex I was running this before it was cool. In a tier full of Spikes users, most walls tend to run 248 HP to take less damage from hazards; Cofagrigus is no exception. Taking the max defense route along with Will-O-Wisp will make most physical attackers HM01. For those that don't, see if they still act tough after you show them the infamous RestTalk combo. Of course, there will be Taunt users, which is why we're running Shadow Ball or Hex if you're feeling a tad real. You can also run this with a Pursuit Slaking... but you didn't hear it from me x: If you're not on the receiving end of this, enjoy c:
