Black Blade is also along those same lines. I guess I just don't think something that sounds like it's going to kill you is what I'd imagine to be the theme. I did say in b4 skyrim and I meant it. Compare those to my original suggestion and you get quite the contrast... Sovngarde wouldn't be bad. It fits, but I guess it just isn't "exciting" (for lack of a better word) enough to me. I've dropped since then, and I probably do a bit better in the lower tiers. I just don't really like OU that much, I mean look at my league team, even when I have access to OU 'mons I still tend to bring a fair bit of UUish stuff. I don't mind if I get picked or not, if you're struggling to make up the numbers then I'll go for it. I'm certainly not the best battler we have in the nation, but I'd be willing to bet I'm not the worst either. As for reasons: 1: I've been training with our types since they were announced, so I have a good feel for them. 2: I use non-standard strategies that surprise some people. 3: Back when I actually laddered, I was on the first and second pages. 4: I got the Poe-Luck. I don't really have any as to why I should go above anyone else. ^^; I was a near Reborn-League champion ( And then I got to Amaria and cried cause I had zero coverage for water and infinite rain. ), and I know my way around the battlefield having been playing competitively since gen 4. I'm decently good at predicting and I used to be a consistent top 20 in the ladder back in gen 5 ( With my signature team, which as most know is non-weather. ). If I'm correct then Skitty's A game is OU, she herself stated that she's ranked #2 #1 in that meta at the moment. If this is a form of gameplay that she is particularly familiar with then why aren't we using her? It's your decision in the end, and I'm happy to be on the team but I just thought I'd bring this up because I thought she'd be a given. Oh and Skitty? Sheep Posted July 31, 2014 Share Posted July 31, 2014 (edited) Probably DD's place to say this rather than my own but fantastic job this week guys. 4-1 against a nation that we have a large type disadvantage against (in my opinion anyway) is a really great start. In particular I'm going to congratulate Kaito and Poe. Kaito fought a stunning battle against Bazaro, who was bringing all of the threats I was expecting to have to face myself, and won in a nail biter. Poe's match was somewhat similar from what I've heard, but I wasn't there and I haven't seen the log. Well done guys. Let's try and keep it going. As you've all noticed, our rosters double dip A LOT from week to week... that's cause we don't really see you guys on much and have to pick from actives so we don't forfeit. ^^; So! If you guys want to be on the rosters more, the answer is simple: Get on the PO server, join the Mythic Nation channel and come chat and hang out with your fellow members! That way we know you're here and can include you in a roster! Plus, we're all friends here, aye? Might as well get to know one another more! So yeah... s'about it from me.
