Administrators Amethyst Posted March 22, 2011 Author Administrators Share Posted March 22, 2011 It takes Skill Cinccino (M/F) @ Life Orb/Razor Claw/Razor Fang Trait: Skill Link EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe Adamant/Jolly Nature - Sweep Slap - Bullet Seed - Rock Blast - Encore/Thunder Wave Cinccino itself is a pretty predictable Pokemon. With good speed, decent attack, it's off to a decent start, but it's real value comes from the little bone Gamefreak threw it. On top of its STAB signature move, Tail Slap, it gets two other moves Bullet Seed and Rock Blast, all of which abuse its ability, Skill Link. These multi-hit moves have been souped-up since 4th gen, and Cinccino is ready to show what they can do. While those threw form a fairly solid and standard offensive core, walled only by Steel Types, our little cutie here has some variety within that to find. Mostly, the item of choice- Life Orb, of course, boosts the power of these attacks- something Cinccino likes a lot given that it may not OHKO (or 5HKO depending on how you look at it) many bulkier threats (although it'll leave a nice dent in even the best walls). On the other hand, the Razor items take advantage of pure ods. One adds the potential for an attack to flinch, while the other increase the chance of a critical hit. With each attack, you hit five times more than any other, and therefore, your odds of either of these things happening is increased five fold. Risky, but often worth it. The nature is probably going to depend on the chosen fourth move. If using Thunder Wave, crippling your opponents and guaranteeing Cinccino to outspeed, the extra power from Adamant will be a welcome boost. If not, however, Cinccino best makes use of its excellent speed using Encore to lock opponents into harmless moves and slowly chip away at them. diana
Cinccino (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Technician EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Tail Slap - Rock Blast - U-turn - Bullet Seed Okay, so. Abuse Technican. Sure, Skill Link is a more... predictable thing. But Technican gives you more power at the cost of less hits. It's a basic Choice Band set, while you're at it, so... It's pretty straightforward, mainly walled by Steels and whatnot. Uh... enjoy? qq Edited December 28, 2012 by Silver~
