I decided recently to go clean up my room a bit. Which lead to me pulling out a bunch of old systems and games.
This got me into wanting to go back and play some old games and possibly try to beat them.(Gotta find something to do while waiting for new games to come out.)
So I'll be posting my list of games sometimes soon. I encourage others to do the same hell even recommend some games if you want~

Hope you have fun! I know I sure did on my trip to the past.

The only console I ever had was the PS1 which became inoperational when I was 8. I can't describe how overjoyed and sleep-deprived I was when I discovered emulation. I even dug up my favourite game, of which the Japanese version somehow got into my hands back then, despite my living in the middle of Europe. I didn't even know how to save, so I had to keep replaying the game over and over, but it's still one of my favorite games of all time.

But enough of me. I do hope you'll enjoy delving into the past. Just don't get a Nostalgia overdose. And since you said you're doing it to kill time, PM me should you want to get into PS1 emulation. For game recommends, setups and stuff.

I haven't even opened Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne yet. I know, I need to. I'm backed up with other things too though. Haven't finished FF7 or FF12, started both.

Now...this. This one:

Yugioh Forbidden Memories for PS1. I have hundreds of hours into that game. It's fun as hell but so hard that even though it's all on one save file, I have yet to beat it. I play it a little bit at least once a year....for about 13 years now, maybe more.

Compared to some other people, i'm surprised actually; I thought i'd be the one to not finish too many games but I can only think of 4. I see these lists...did you guys get bored? I just stopped temporarily because of staggering length, and one I have not started yet.

So many digital games, wow. In terms of digital games, I have....uh......does Reborn count? Maybe? Yea. That one.

Pokemon Yellow is not a Gameboy Color game, for the record.

After looking around here and seeing that nobody has as many different physical consoles as I do, I feel like I might be a hoarder :P

I honestly couldn't list everything...It would take a long time. I would have to get everything together and count them up and list them all, and it would probably take hours.

I don't think I have so many for each console though actually...probably because I almost never leave a game unfinished for long (and I replay older games fairly often, PS1 Spyro FTW)

I have to wonder now, does anybody actually get rid of games? Selling them or giving them away, etc. I've never done any of that myself, I wouldn't want to. I've heard the stories of people that sold a game after they beat it for a few dollars, only to want to play it again later and end up buying it again, spending more money than they received from their previous copy. Personally, every game I have ever owned (except a few I lost), as well as every console (except my PS1 because my mom gave it away when I got a PS2, without my consent) sitting in my room somewhere. Admittedly though, I do not have a tidy, organized place to keep them all, they scattered around.

I have not used steam, and I do not know much about it. Isn't it some sort of online game rental service or something? A third party to go through for downloading games? I don't really know.

Late response to you sorry~

But of course Im having fun with it so many games to play~ also its a shame your Playstation stopped working. Nothing like playing some old games with the actual controllers~ Also I dont think I can overdose on nostalgia mostly cause as good as old games can be at times they can really piss you off easily D<

@Chuckles
What you're thinking is Gamefly or something like that.
Steam is a virtual library for all your games (It'll also be the place where you'll spend most of your money on games that are on sale)
It's really useful since you can find plenty of cheap games, and tons of indiegames. And yes, it's DRM, but it doesn't even bother to put you through that much trouble, it's just a game library that does its job as some platform for games?
I unno. I just love steam.

I wouldnt say it was too off topic as I did say go ahead an recommend games~
Also finding very hard to go back and replay some of my games. Usually cause i lost track of the last thing I did in a story or cause simply the game was being a jerk(Like Magna Carta 2 where I forgot to buy items and am now stuck in the boss room forever.)
