Cata
Hi. The fact is that I'm stucked in Beryl Ward with that double battle. Until now I have just: Feraligatr lv 31 Noibat lv 26 other pokemon captured and no trained. And I have to battle with 3 evolutions of Evee at lv 27, Chatot lv25, Tangrowth ( pulse machine ) lv 25, Lileep lv 25. How the hell it is possible to win? I don't like no one pokemon found util now ( exept Feraligatr, because I won the electric badge with his previous evolution alone ) and there aren't strog pokemon to catch..... I have one shiny mankey at lv 24, but it isn't strong pokemon..... What should I do? Capture 4 Rattatas and spend time training in the grass ( I'm evidenly joking )? Please send me a solution. PD: If my english is like a retarded, sorry I'm not english ) PD2: I like so much Gyarados, but I'm too lazy to train a magikarp now...... help..... Support Squad Felicity Posted August 4, 2014 Support Squad Share Posted August 4, 2014 First things first you need to raise some more pokemon, pretty much any will do. I recommend Growlithe or mareep
derekwst3
train mankey to become strong pokemon, when raining go to train station (where you started the game) catch Numel, he is a awesome friend, I say a electric, most are not that great at the current moment, but near the pokemon center that you are probally using is a emolga, Sixth pokemon im not sure it will be the just in case battler he has Glaceon, Umbreon, espeon, Chatot, Tangrowth, Lileep, Mankey can hit Glaceon, and Umbreon and Lileep hopefully killing them or dealing major damage, Numel vs Tangrowth Emolga vs Tangrowth and Chatot Noibat and Feraligatr and a sixth can help attack the other pokemon, Crunch and Ice Fang are awesome here. Yes this battle is one of the hardest at the point of the game, EDIT: NINJAD, I forgot about Mareep, yes if you can find the 5 police, you can get a growlithe I say save before taking it and grabing it as a girl, doing the pokemon daycare side quest, and breeding then trading the new growlithe for a Mareep instead of emolga, Edited August 4, 2014 by derekwst3
Wolfox
You mean Azuril? Ame changed it, the Azirul event is now the Marrep event, though I can't get the Mareep on new save file's for some reason
Mint_Spaghetti
Try focusing on one of the trainers first then the others. I found it easier to take out all of ZEL (the eevee family) then taking out Taka. And yes like it has been mentioned before train more Pokemon. This game will get harder and it will be difficult if you have an unbalanced team
Etesian
Go back and get an Ekans/Arbok. Screech, Glare, a Dark move and maybe a Fang move through the tutor can be very helpful for the double battle and for tha next gym as well.
Velocirapture
Gothita's pretty good considering that it has fairly high special defense for an unevolved pokemon, as you likely won't train it up to level 32 to evolve it. It has psybeam for Tangrowth, which takes on a poison type for its Pulse/pseudo-Mega evolution, and you can give it charge beam for Chatot with the TM from Julia. You might be tempted like I was to swap psybeam for psyshock, which may be better in the long run, but does poorly against Tangrowth, which has a significantly higher defense than special defense. The only problem might be that you get Gothita at a low level by paying that homeless guy in that alley around the starting area of the game (I'm terrible at remembering the names of all of the wards but I think that it's Peridot), so it'll take some time to level up. For a higher leveled pokemon, you get Litleo at level 15, I think, which will do well against Glaceon and Tangrowth with a few levels. You get it by trading a Bibarel to a guy in a house, in what I think is the upper Peridot ward. Evolving Bidoof doesn't take too long, and Litleo gains experience faster due to being a traded pokemon. Gothita, however, will help against the boss battle not long after this one. Mint_Spaghetti
Fury cutter kricketune is very good for 2 of the eevees and the tangrowth. He is a beast early game
