N8theGr8
Concentrated Jelly Reuniclus @ Leftovers/Life Orb Trait: Magic Guard EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpAtk Bold/Modest Nature - Calm Mind - Psychic/Psyshock - Focus Blast/HP Fighting - Trick Room/Recover Standard Reuniclus is standard. The premise is simple. Use your amazing HP stat, good Defense, and Magic Guard to find an opportunity to Calm Mind and then continue until you're ready to wreck the opposing team. Psyshock is there mostly for opposing Reuniclus, but Psychic is generally the preferred option. Focus Blast is probably the better choice, seeing as its Base Power is 50 more than HP Fighting, but 30 less accuracy is significant enough to make HP a viable option. The choice of Trick Room or Recover is whether you want to boost your sweeping potential or your longevity. The same goes for the choice between Leftovers and Life Orb. However, bear in mind that Life Orb recoil will not occur because of Magic Guard. If you are running Trick Room/Life Orb, some Defense EVs can be moved to Special Attack to increase the power being dealt from this guy. Truly, he's a definite threat and one of the most defining Pokémon of the 5th Generation metagame.
Developers Voctrode Posted May 3, 2011 Developers Share Posted May 3, 2011 (Reuniclus) (F) @ Life Orb / Leftovers Trait: Magic Guard EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Calm Mind - Recover - Psyshock - Focus Blast Reuniclus is the last thing you wanna see looking at you at breakfast, at least if it's not on your side. It's a pretty simple set-up, in every sense of the word. Try to come in on a predicted damaging status move. Calm Mind to buff yourself up if you think you can last long enough to do it, recovering occasionally. Then shoot with either Psyshock or Focus Blast. Despite the extremely short "Hao du ai use this," this set obviously has a few problems. Namely the slight rarity of Sableye, and the extreme rarity of Spiritomb. This set cannot touch them whatsoever due to their annoying typing, forcing you to switch out as they do whatever the hell that want. Curse me for how short this is.. :c Edit: N8 successfully ninja'd me, uncool :c
Guest Mafia
Slow Speed Sweeper Reuniclus (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Magic Guard IVs: 0 spe EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Psychic - Focus Blast - Trick Room - Recover/Shadowball This set is straightforward, either hit predictable switch-in's with the right move or use trick room and see if you can start a sweep or switch into a slow pokemon that can set up or sweep instead the High hp, Magic gaurd, and stable defenses will allow you to take many attacks on switch in or setup.
