Maelstrom
I have swept teams with my spider, somehow. Same thing, cept... Thunder Wave instead of hp, and Lum berry instead of Life Orb. Paralyze helps with stalls. I used to run this with scarf, but it didn't actually need the speed boost and being able to choose between thunder and bug buzz has helped me rape teams. Energy Ball is like, I just put that on it today, so I don't know how well it'll work for me, but yeah. Better than the sucker punch that got no use. N8theGr8
Spiderman's Disguise Galvantula @ Choice Scarf/Choice Specs Trait: Compoundeyes EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed Timid/Modest Nature - Thunder - Energy Ball - Bug Buzz/Hidden Power [Ice] - Volt Switch Disguise yourself using spectacles or a scarf. Durrr. Anyway, the point of this set is obvious. Revenge kill or just hit hard. Thunder with Compoundeyes is awesome. Energy Ball is for the Ground types that love to switch in on your Electric attacks, especially Swampert and Quagsire. Bug Buzz is STAB, but Hidden Power [Ice] hits Dragons and Gliscor hard. Volt Switch is for scouting switches. Galvantula is incredibly frail, so only bring it in on weak, resisted attacks or bring it in to revenge kill. Fezzdog
Sticky Web Shooter(Galvantula) (M) @ Focus Sash/Life OrbTrait: CompoundeyesEVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 SpdTimid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)- Thunder- Bug Buzz- Hidden Power [Ground]/Giga Drain- Sticky WebGalvantula earned himself a new option to run in Gen 6 which could potentially ruin whole teams and give viability to many slower, but stronger Pokemon. Gaining access to Sticky Web, Galvantula can single handedly prevent a Hyper-Offensive team from its job of wrecking face and a Compoundeyes STAB Thunder is nothing to sneeze at even without a Life Orb against the frailer, quicker threats. None of the Magic Bouncers take kindly to his Bug and Electric STABs, but a Rapid Spinner for Stealth Rocks or if a Magic Bouncer does try to attempt something is nice to have along. His job has been made harder than it would've been in Gen 5 however with the hazard-removing buffs to Defog. Without a Life Orb, Galvantula also makes no impact against a full Stall team.
