Fury coursed through Roy. His blood was boiling, from both the heat of the flame wheel and his anger. That bitch had done the unthinkable. With a howl of terrifying intensity, Roy gave chase. He would find that b*tch, and he would reclaim those fantastic snacks.

Sparks quickly charged after Draidon, Roy, and the Arcanine, "Let's get a move on guys!" He called as he continued to pick up speed, hoping to catch up with them, making sure that he wouldn't lose them as he dashed up the rock-ridden trail towards Mt. Horn, "Didn't think things would be like this.." He mumbled to himself.

"Thank you so much, Michael... And everyone here!" Artemis chirped politely. Before Artemis could ponder on how Michael could have known about her and teammates, MacMillan showed up to ask about the bag, just like the Alakazam predicted. Artemis opened the bag and showed the Zangoose the 5 oran berries, 1 revive herb, and 500 Poke. "Those con-men had it pretty well made, huh? Serves them right to get caught." Seeing that she was holding up the line, Artemis decided that it was time to move on. "We better get back to Otto; we will have more time to examine these things there." The tiny bird grabbed the bag with her two feet and began to fly away from the crowd. However Artemis flew pretty low to the ground due to the weight of the bag.

Never a moment of rest. The donuts would just be given, when a fiery Pokemon -an Arcanine, right?- swept them away right in front of their faces. "Because it's real smart to enrage Roy," Vincent mumbled, but he went after Draidon, Roy and Sparks anyway. "Hey *huff* Sparks, isn't an Arcanine way too *huff* fast for us? *huff*"

"Hey *huff* Sparks, isn't an Arcanine way too *huff* fast for us? *huff*"

"An Arcanine is fast, but I'm certain that we can catch up to it. I'm the quickest one here as far as i know, even if Draidon is farther ahead than the rest of us." He claimed as he continued up the trail at a brisk pace, in order to keep sight of Draidon and the Arcanine.

SEACREST

"Here, let me carry it for you." Mac said as he scooped up the bag from Artemis, shouldering the weight easily. "And now that we've gotten our supplies, I think it's about time we head back to the Castle... where'd the liar go?"

"I'm right here, ya know!" Torrent called a bit angrily from nearby in the crowd. he approached the trio, his chest puffed out pridefully. "And I'll have you know; I strongly resent being called a liar! Lazy? yes. But a liar? that's where I simply have to draw the line, good sirs and madam!"

"You eavesdropped on our entire conversation earlier, didn't you?" Macmillan tossed a quick glance back at Otto and Artemis as he spoke.

"I honestly didn't have to," Torrent said, still a little miffed. "You were whispering to each other so loudly that you might as well have just screamed for the entire conversation. That and my gift of excellent hearing." The Piplup turned to Artemis and Otto, looking both of them in the eye. It was time to break out the big guns if he ever wanted to find Bubble and Pixi. "So...I presume you all are just gonna head back to the castle now; completely disregarding the fact that two fellow members are currently MIA? Alright then guys, fine, it's your choice... I'm just gonna be dreading having to tell Lady Mira about them being missing though, and I WILL have to tell her, believe me...She'll be asking questions about it if I don't. I'm especially gonna hate the part where I'll have to admit that I asked you guys for help trying to find them, and you just flat refused and headed home..."

SEACREST

"Hmmm?" Torrent asked, his arms crossed against his chest. "What? so now you guys want to help me find them?"

"Well, seeing as how you pretty much just blackmailed us," Mac said. "We honestly don't have much of a choice in the matter... do we?" He looked over at Artemis, who had yet to say anything. "What do you think, Artemis? he's kinda got our hands tied right now..."

Artemis feigned an expression of terror, putting her wings in front of her face as an added effect. "Oh no! Whatever shall we do?" She then turned to Mac, loosing her comical expression. "Actually, we do we have a choice. For one thing," Artemis pulled out her badge and showed it to Torrent. "If you could read correctly, it clearly says "Seacrest Exploration Castle." I don't believe it ever says "Rescue" in it anywhere. Do you? If you want us to go and help you find your friends, that would qualify as a rescue mission, which is out of our league. Second, those two fellow members are only a part of Seacrest, not a part of my future team in Seacrest. So, the responsibility should fall on you to help them, not us. You, Torrent, were with them last, after all. So, even if you do complain to Lady Mira about us not helping you, it doesn't give you an excuse to slack off and blame it on us. You have more resources than us to give you an advantage in the cave, while we really don't." She gestured to the bag that Mac had (thankfully) took off of her talons. "And talking about slacking off," Artemis then stood up to her full height, puffing out her cloud feathers, "I would also dread to have to tell Lady Mira that her aspiring rookie is being a lazy pain in the butt who is blackmailing her new recruits just to get what he wants. How do you think she will look at you then? After all, a lazy Pokemon means working as little as possible. And working as little as possible means little to no money, and you know as well as I do that she loves money, right?" The Swablu then went back to her natural size before pointing out the last flaw. "Finally, your disgusting attitude is what made me and my teammates here decline to help you. You didn't even thank me or my friends for giving you a Reviver Seed back there. Instead, you went prancing around screaming bloody murder because we refused to help a lazy Pokemon such as yourself. I would just go back to the castle and risk being scolded by Lady Mira then. Of course..." she turned to Otto, whom she noticed had a smirk on his face before, "If one of my teammates has other thoughts, I will be willing to listen," she gave a wink to Otto.

Otto responded to Artemis.

"Artemis, you just brought up a good point. Seacrest IS an Exploration Castle, after all."

Otto then pulled out his Wonder Badge, which was Blank instead of being labeled.

"This leads me to my next point: I'm only travelling with Pokemon from Seacrest at the moment, but i think it would be best if i actually Joined the Castle before going on any more Journeys into Mystery Dungeons. I'm all for heading back to the Castle."

Verdance

Alina scrambled after the others, clearly intent on getting out of here as fast as possible. Now that she knew that the servine was NOT friendly, the water-type had no intentions to stick around. Unfortunately though, the tunnel they chose at the fork was long and windy, and led to a dead end. "Hey, what do you propose we do now?" Alina asked Jake. "I think we should turn around and take the other fork. My map shows no sign of that servine being on our tail, and plus, if it took the other fork, we'd be following it, not the other way around. Plus, it would also take care of any enemies in out path."

Tempest

The Arcanine blazed through the dungeon with the stolen doughnuts, returning to her den halfway up. Doughnuts huh? Pretty rare items in such a large quantity. I wonder how much poke these beauties would fetch when Monsieur Meowth comes around tomorrow. The arcanine took one last look at the tantalizing treats, debating whether she should..sample one or not. After all, they weren't the tiny, sugarcoated doughnut holes Kecleon stocked every couple days, these were large, fluffy, fresh doughnuts that had an assortment of icings and toppings on them.

Verdance:
Take your pick:
Either wait it out in the tunnel, and Lamina will find you in a little bit,

OR

Take the other fork, run into a monster house, and lamina bails you out.

Tempest:
Take your pick:
Take on Arcanine (level 32) and get the doughnuts back if you succeed (and a reward of one doughnut each once you bring back to kecleon)

OR

Steal the doughnuts from Arcanine, and Flare will get VERY mad at you. Oh, and Arcanine will chase you. And you cant escape orb it. AND, Kecleon will request that you hunt down that arcanine because he's always stealing from Kecleon.

HEH. HEH. HEH.

BTW, want to know some spoilers? As in endgame spoilers?

I just realized that I posted this in the wrong topic.

"Wait, what?" Artemis turned around and examined Otto's empty Wonder Badge. "Then how--" she quickly shook her head and turned to Torrent. She recalled that Otto had to tell her something before when she asked him about this, but with Torrent around, it's better if they discuss it where they know that penguin cannot hear them. "Well, that gives us a good reason to go back to Seacrest Castle then, right MacMillan? We cannot afford to have one of our own teammates to not have a proper badge; that would be dangerous!"

He sat there, listening intently to Alina, while he thought for a moment until a thought occurred.

"Everyone, I have something to say... I have a special power. I can sense disasters in the future, I feel it could help if I looked into the future a bit."

Jake took a deep breath for a moment and closed his eyes... At first he saw nothing. A black void, empty of anything... He began to calm his mind. His horn began to glow slightly, emanating a strange force...

One last breath...

Suddenly the void exploded into light, giving him a sight into the future! He saw... Two timelines...

Staying and being caught.

Or being attacked by an ambush of many enemies.

A moment passed as the force dissipated.

"...I see two bad endings... Our fate is sealed. We must fight our way through a this..."

He looked at the map for a moment... He began thinking of a plan.

"It is unfortunate, but the stairs lay within the second misfortune of my readings. We must take the fork into the place where the ambush lye. Any objections?... If not we shall depart into our struggle."

Alina sat there for a moment, contemplating their choices. "Have you heard about the mysterious wind? I hear its only a legend, but travelers who stay on the same floor of a dungeon for a long time will get swept out my a mysterious wind. My great-grandfather told me about this. And apparently, its not far off. I felt the first sign a while ago, a slow, circular breeze. So I say we should go, even if our chances of getting out of that ambush is slim." The mudkip stood up and dusted herself off. Checking her bag, she noticed she only had one oran berry. "So what's our plan? Charge in and make a beeline for the stairs, or do we want to stick for some experience? I was thinking about leading the way in, since I can use avalanche and surf. Jake should be in the middle since he can dash past us to use sucker punch, and Jory can bring up the rear with tail slap, and send swift attacks past both of us."

~~

"Never mind, let's just get going."
"You done?" Merodi asked. "Great. Let's get going. I cant stand another moment of staring." As the trio made their way back to the dungeon, the skorupi they were traveling with suddenly stopped. "'Sup? Did ya forget something back in town?"

"No." The skorupi replied. "But if you guys are planning to take on that dungeon again, screw this, I'm outta here. Too many supereffective types out there, and I honestly doubt we are going to survive to the end."

Merodi glared at the skorupi for a moment, and then replied, "Fine. Be back in a flash, goin' off to clear that said dungeon!" The only reply the little chimp received was a "hmph" as the scorpion turned tail and left. "Well, I guess its just you and me now, huh? I'd say we get going, before it gets any later. I'd hate to get out of that darn dungeon past midnight"

"Right, it would be very much so," Mac concurred, turning to Torrent. "And as for you, if you're telling the truth and not actually BSing us right now, then why don't you just go and ask someone in town to help you instead? after all, the three of us aren't that strong, considering we're just starting out."

"Fine," Torrent sighed in defeat. it was a good effort though... "I can clearly see who the brains of this team is anyway. Nice counter, Swablu... I can see it's obvious I can't do anything to convince you; so I'm not gonna bother wasting anymore time trying." With that said he pivoted on his feet and walked back towards the town square, approaching Kage as he and his team members over saw the distribution of the items.

"Quick," Mac said to Artemis and Otto, heading off down the road. "let's book it back to the castle before he changes his mind decides to come try again."

Artemis followed Mac and Otto, flying quietly behind. She couldn't help but look back at the town one last time before making her way to Seacrest Castle, shaking her head at the Piplup's foolishness. "It's technically not that hard to convince me. You just need to ask politely.'

Understanding exactly what Alina spoke of, he replied to the whole group in discomfort.

"It's true... On my travels I have sensed it with my special ability, and heard legend of it's power. this wind will sweep you away if we don't hurry! Now let's go!"

Dashing around the corner, he ran toward the obvious trap, but nothing better could come out of this. A bunch of basic enemies, or the servine... Maybe both. But they had to reach the stairs!

Verdance:
"Hey, wait up!" The trio paraded down the corridor, with Jake at the lead. Soon enough, they came across a rather small room, with many items inside, as well as the stairs. "Hey, Jake, are you 100% sure on your prediction?" Alina asked. "You mentioned stairs -there's the stairs-, but I think you mistook the items for enemy pokemon. There isnt a single enemy in sight, not in that room, or on my map. And thankfully no servine either," she whispered the last part. The last thing she wanted to do was to jinx her words.

Mystique:
"By the way, what are you doing here? I'd forgotten to ask before we'd entered... aren't you lost or something?"
"Kinda, I guess," the chimchar replied. "I dunno what Im doing here, what Im supposed to be doing, heck, I dont even know if Im lost or not. All I know is that Arceus gave me some weird power and told me to save the world or something. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy. But its the truth, or something like that. But anyway, I dunno. I have no clue where we are, but something just tells me where to go, and I dont feel like Im lost." As the pair walked, Merodi suddenly stopped and turned toward a corridor. "There's the stairs. Im sure of it."

The Espurr blinked and looked at her companion unsurely. "Er... Are you certain it wasn't a dream? For the one and only Arceus to do and say something like that..." When she mentioned the stairs, Pulse moved first and hurled a Silver Spike towards the object. It cried in pain, and anger.

A Graveler came rushing into the corridor towards them. "Not again," Pulse groaned.
