Sparks took a moment to think, "Well, you do have a perfectly good point there, Ace. I suppose it's only best to keep from getting distracted, in order to catch up with Vincent and Draidon, rather than just standing around and discussing." He retorted, "But which way do we go to find them?" He questioned as he had no thoughts as to where they could have gone off to, other than the next floor.

Artemis watched as Mac and Otto leapt through the waterfall with relative ease. 'I never thought I would say this, but I wish I was an Altaria now.' Before she followed them, however, the Swablu drew a blank on where to go next. With that thought, Artemis addressed Lady Mira once more. "Lady Mira, where would we be able to obtain Otto's necessary equipment for exploration? I would like to make sure of the directions before we stumbled upon something that we shouldn't be seeing."

"You should already know," Lady Mira said, a bit miffed that the Swablu was wasting time, and by extension money, by sitting here asking her questions the girl should've already known the answers to herself. "Seek out Depth in the storage chambers; She is the Quartermaster of Seacrest. Now begone," She gave another wave of her regal tail. "Time is money, girl, and if you stand here wasting anymore by asking useless questions, I might be inclined to rethink your service to Seacrest...get back to work, child."

Tempest

"Over there," Ace said, gesturing with one of his talons at a large swath of fallen Dungeon dwellers near a corridor leading out of the room. "The lizard and Vincent and Roy were caught up in the thickest of the fighting here; so that path right there is our best bet to following them given the number of fools unconscious on the ground." With that said, the tailow veered off and flew down the natural hallway, Roy saying a few muffled things through his gag and taking off after the bird in a hurry...

Kenny came through the waterfall, landing next to Artemis, and spoke to her.

"Let's get going, Artemis, I want to get my badge Marked as soon as possible so I can get on the next Mission as soon as I can!"

Kenny then grabbed Artemis and went back through the Waterfall, putting her down once he landed on the other side without harming either of them in the process. Kenny then headed back to the Waiting Room.

Artemis was only able to utter an apology to Lady Mira before she was dragged unceremoniously through the waterfall by Kenny. While she was unharmed, she was now soaked to the bone: Her wings felt heavy since her cottony wings absorbed so much of the icy water and her small, blue body was dripping from the moisture. 'At least the rest of the recruits here are used to this sort of thing.' With a disgruntled look on her face, she hopped back to the waiting room to meet up with Kenny and Mac, shaking herself loose all the while.

By the time she managed to get to the said room, her wings were the only appendages that are still wet. It will take some time before she could fly off again. "Sorry for the wait. I wanted to make sure that the explorer kit is still handled by Depth." Artemis also looked down at the floor below her; water was beginning to pool around her talons as the moisture dripped from her white wings. With a sigh, she then pointed to the direction of the storage chambers with a soggy wing. "The storage chambers are that way and that is where Depth is." She then allowed the wing to fall with a splat before she began making her way to the said chamber. The others could easily find their way there should they lose sight of the small bird since she is leaving a water trail behind her.

Macmillan followed behind the soaking wet bird as she made her way down the corridor from the throne room, himself shaking his fury violently in order to repel the water that had swamped him, sending droplets everywhere, but none on Otto or Artemis themselves. The doorway up ahead to the left had a sign pinned high above the arched door way, spelling out in big black font that it was the Castle Storage Chambers, along with a message... with some rather choice insults to any would be theives.

"What's you're business here?" a voice demanded from behind the trio as they prepared to enter beyond. A blinding light accompanied the question, held up in their faces and making a simple inquiry feel like an interrogation of sorts. "I suggest you start the talking, because I've got even less mercy for Thievery than Lady Mira herself does." the blinding light, however, obscured any view of who the inquisitor was... but Artemis and Mac could both recognize the voice...

Artemis had hid her head underneath her wings in order to protect her eyes from the white light. 'It's the middle of the day! It's light enough outside!' she thought grumpily. Upon hearing the authoritative voice, however, the Swablu calmed down. It sounded like Depth, the Lanturn. No wonder there was so much light all of a sudden.

"Depth, sir, it is I, Artemis of Seacrest," the small bird introduced herself as she lowered her wing from her face. She made sure that she didn't look directly into the Lanturn's glowing anglers; Artemis was already wet, she definitely didn't want to add "and blind" to her current description. "MacMillan, also of Seacrest, and I are here to find you. Lady Mira has just accepted a new member into our castle so we brought him here to pick up his exploration kit."

"Oh, it's you two again..." Depth said as he dimmed his Anglers back to their usual intensity, effectively removing the glare from the trio's eyes. The Electric fish looked Otto up and down, assuming him to be the newbie that the other newbie was referring to. "I see... very well then, follow me. And don't touch anything, understood?"

Without even waiting for a response, the angler pushed open the heavy doors to the Storage chambers and dissapeared inside, his orbs illuminating the way into the dark reaches of the place...

It wasn't too long before the five travelers, two of which still out cold, reached town from their trek out to Brine Cave. The place had calmed down a bit since Torrent and Kage had left. The crowd out in the plaza had considerably thinned out to a tiny throng of Pokemon talking to each other about various subjects, seemingly over what had happened with the Psuedo Kecleons earlier, not that Alistair would know anything about the incident.

"Welcome to seacrest, kiddo," He said rather blandly, still having some misgivings about how the dragon had so easily decided to throw away his time and energy working for those bubs over in the castle... "I suggest you get used to the city, because this is where you're going to be spending a lot of your time from here on out... between the castle and the mystery dungeons, that is."

"Kage," a sagely voice called from the distance. Michael and Rodrick were both standing by the former sales stall of the Zoroark brothers, empty chests sitting scattered on the ground by their feet. The distribution of cash and goods had gone smoothly, it seemed.

"Things went without any hiccups," the Gengar apprised them. "we even found another one while we were leaving to head back... he glanced over at Alistair, all the while shooting a telepathic message to Michael that the kid had been talked into joining seacrest. Michael shook his head in what seemed to be disappointment... though he said nothing.

"Glad to hear it then," Rodrick said, "Not that brine cave would've been any issue for you with Kage at your side, kid. Anyways, here, take these." He opened his palm at face level with Torrent, revealing two seeds resting there. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what their function was, and Torrent plopped one into Bubble's and and Pixi's mouths without hesitation, the two coming too a few seconds later, looking around bewildered at how they'd gotten here...

"I guess you won't be needing my help anymore," Kage said, dropping the two to the ground like sacks of flour.

"Hey, thanks though, really appreciated it," Torrent said, nodding earnestly. "I would've gotten my butt royally handed to me over and over again if I had tried to solo the place to rescue them."

"Torrent, what the hecks going on around here?" Bubble demanded as he picked himself up from where Kage had so unceremoniously dropped him. He cast a glance at Alistair, just now noticing the small dragon type for the first time. "And who's this? a new recruit or something?"

"And by the way..." Depth said immediately after Otto had followed him inside, turning to do an about face on the human, eyes filled with suspicion. "It's not really my business since Lady Mira obviously knows whatever craziness is going on if she approved you, but...mind explaining why the hell you're a human? You're kind should've long since been gone from the world... so I don't see any way how any could've just popped up all of sudden."

"I may as well tell you what I told Lady Mira and the others. Here's what's going on: The world is in grave peril yet again due to Darkrai's return. it is because of this that Arceus has brought six Humans to this Realm, myself being one of them. He gave each of us a Bag with three things in it: A Crystal Orb that switches our form between Human and Pokemon, a Wonder Map, and a blank Wonder Badge. He then told us that He would confer with Palkia about the matter, seeing how they'd only recently noticed the effects of Darkrai's tampering with both the Temporal Tower and the Temple of Space."

"Uh huh..." Depth said, crossing his fins and raising an eyebrow. He turned back around and began heading off down the Corridor again. "Sounds like a bunch of Tauros shit in my opinion, but if lady mira thinks it's something worth looking into... doesn't matter, not my place to judge. I'm merely the quarter master around here..."

Artemis tilted her head slightly as she followed the others into the dark chambers. 'Hopefully his wares don't mind being washed.' She hopped as daintily as her tiny bird feet would allow her, her wings bobbed up and down all the while as she struggled to hold them up to let the water drip out. "Surely, Depth, you should be giving yourself more credit than that. Being a quarter master in Lady Mira's castle is no easy feat, considering how much treasure she has~" 'Might as well strike up a conversation to set my mind off of my wing pain.'

"Hmph, please," the Lanturn retorted. "All I do is catalog what gets found in dungeons and how much of it and take it down here to be stored in it's appropriate vault. It's not any less or any more work than I would find Quarter Mastering for any other Noble; Lady Mira of Seacrest is rich, powerful, so I'm constantly racking my mind thinking of how to manage all the surplus and wealth... Since I'm also the one she liked enough to bother making the Treasurer as well as the Quarter Master. If things were inverted though, I'd still have the same load of work, just different in that I'd be racking my mind about how the hell to fix the deficiency problem in the store houses and in the coffers." as he spoke, the group noticed they were beginning to pass large, metallic doors in the hall way, each of them locked with a highly complex combination system that likely had been wrought by none other than the minds of Alakazams. "It's a constant flow though, Seacrest is a port city, Money comith in, Money goith out, as they said in the old days. My job is streamlined in that sense, I always know what's going to happen to every cent that passes my desk. If there's anyone in this Castle who deserves a bit of pride for his work though, it's Fractal. It might not look it from the small size of the lone reading room you all have access to, but many times as much work as I do here goes into his running of the record keeping and information."

They reached the end of the long corridor, Depth's light shinning upon a sturdy locking box of washed red oak and a golden lock. With a tap of his fin and a Thunder Bolt later, the padlock was lying open on the floor, the lid flying open. "Here," he said, reaching inside and tossing a starter Exploration kit at the human Otto. the next moment he slammed the chest shut and redid the lock, looking at Otto as he did so. "I don't much care about all this human nonsense, but just a word of advice; Before you go on your next mission, use that orb thing you were spouting on about and change back into a pokemon for Arceus sake... It won't be pretty at all if a human goes traipsing about in a mystery dungeon; bits and pieces of you will be torn apart and scattered everywhere before you can even get to the second floor...it would be quite a horrible way to go, in my opinion."

Sparks simply nodded as he chased after the duo, paying little attention to Roy's muffled speech, due to the string shot gag while they searched for Draidon and Vincent, "Didn't think he could cause this much carnage..." He mumbled to himself as he continued down the natural hallway, passing by outcold dungeon dwellers that had been through a struggle prior to the trio coming down the hallway.

Otto caught the Exploration Kit, and then rolled his eyes as he spoke.

"Tell me about it. I've had more than my fair share of nasty experiences concerning Mystery Dungeons."

Otto then muttered to himself.

"Blasted Dragonairs..."

Artemis nodded at Kenny's statement, remembering those nasty, rude Pokemon. Between them and Lady Mira, the Swablu would rather deal with the Queen of the castle and her tirade on money. She could always tune her out after all.

"You are really are giving yourself too little credit," Artemis spoke up to the Lanturn. "From what you have said, Lady Mira is not easy to please without money. If she entrusts you, out of all of her other companions, with her precious Poke, you have obviously earned her utmost respect~" She paused for a moment to check up on her wings; they were not dripping anymore, but they still look soggy. "Depth, if you don't mind me asking, what made you decide to join Seacrest? Did you come on your own like I did?"

Continuing into the next floor, Jake had began to feel rather fatigued... They 'd been in this blasted place for a while, and he hoped they'd be out sooner or later.

"Alright gang, if we're going to get through here, we're going to need to create some sort of more efficient way. This place seems pretty long... Any ideas? I Don't think we should split up..."

Mystique:

"Yeah! Let's go!" Merodi flipped up and landed halfway down the stairs. She took a look around the next floor, and all of a sudden information started rushing into her head. It was as if she knew exactly where every enemy pokemon and every item was, and the general layout of the dungeon. She took a couple steps back up. "Uh, hey, Pulse, is it just me, or do you always get instant info about the next floor pumped into your head whenever you go up the stairs?" While the chimchar was talking though, she failed to notice that a froslass had slipped through the unmapped walls, and was sneaking right up to the duo.

"That's a story," Depth said, turning and moving away from the now locked chest. "for another time. Now, I've work to do, slackers don't live long around here... I trust the three of you can see yourselves out without too much guidance?"

Tempest

Several more floors, they passed, this trio of a Tailow, a Timburr, and a Jolteon. Level after level Team Tempest ascended the mountain, pursuing their leader and young vincent at his side, coming across more and more defeated foes bearing various injuries, some with burn marks shaped like fangs, as they'd seen earlier, some with claw marks racking across their body, the list could go on and on.

Eventually... they all came to find what they were looking for; on the Twelth floor was Draidon... and Vincent, both of them standing just outside a natural corridor when the team found them, various claw marks surrounding the walls and floor of the rock cavern all around them. Draidon's claws gleamed with an unnatural light, looking so sharp and finely grained they could cut the very air itself.

"Tch, took you all long enough," he said, nodding his head down the corridor... they could see a faint red glow. "She's just down there, guarding what she stole. Me and Vincent have been sitting here getting stronger though, figured she's probably stronger than any of us, but if we go in, someone distracts her while I haul off with a sh*t ton of Dragon Claws strengthened by my Hone Claw..."

"Where were you two back there?" Ace asked, interupting the plan. "You just upped and ditched the three of us like you wanted to solo her, which doesn't bode well given your history..."

"We were keeping the trail warm," Draidon retorted curtly. "now shut it and listen; Here's the plan, You all will pair up into twos, and I'll stay solitary. Two of you heads into the chamber first, launch a few attacks to distract her, another two enter and distract and attack her from the other flank, and you alternate between that, one side attacks and relieves pressure from the other, then the other picks up the slack and gives the coverers respite for a while."

"And what precisely," Ace again demanded, trying to see whatever angle the lizard had in this plan... "are you going to be doing while we're all in there having our asses methodically handed to us two at a time?"

"Like I already said, I'ma haul off with Dragon claw as fast I can as long as I can, and she's gonna down like a log... but before I can do that, I have to get on her back, get a perch that she can't shake me off from and that I can use to destroy her. While the rest of you are distracting her, I'll be using these babies," He held up his razor sharp claws, raking them across a stone wall nearby and leaving deep gout with little effort. "To crawl across the ceiling in the shadows and drop down on her when you've got her in a good spot."

"I know it sounds like a messy and pretty painful plan for us," Vincent spoke up, eyes still on the red glow down the hall way. "But you have to admit, it's probably going to work if we just follow it like he says. And I've honestly got nothing, guys..."

"So are you in or out?" Draidon demanded... reluctantly, Ace nodded, unable to honestly think of a better plan at the moment, time was of the essence here, after all. Roy nodded without a single thought. The dragon turned to Sparks next, scowling just a little bit "What about you, Magneeto?"

((Sparky, just to clarify, Draidon is at +6 Attack and Accuracy from sitting there all this time stacking up Hone Claws. Also, you can go ahead and go up by 3 levels from 5 to 8 since we've been in this dang dungeon for a good while and beaten down a lot of folks...))

((Ah, i see. One level from Thunder Shock. Thanks for the heads up Strat.))

Sparks had taken a moment to think over Draidon's suggested plan, analyzing what was said as it formed a mental image in his mind, "Four of us in two separate teams striking to keep her distracted long enough for him to get an opportunity to slash at her with his claws. It sounds like it's foolproof if it's executed perfectly." He remarked, before nodding in response, "Count me in, This can't go wrong in the slightest, if we do it right." He added.

Tempest

"Then it's set," Draidon set, looking at the others as he absently reached over to Roy and cut the string shot gag off his mouth with a flick of one of his fingers, sending the entire bail of white unraveling down onto the ground around the fighting type's feet. "Now figure out who's gonna pair up with who, I've got some climbing to get to."

With that said he grabbed hold of the nearest rock wall of the corridor and used his upper body strength to launch himself upwards, planting feet, (Which as sparky looked on, he could also notice were just as sharp as Draidon's hand claws... talk about preparation.) and tail here and there as he relentlessly hauled his entire weight up the vertical face, gone into the darkness a few moments later.

"Quick Note to self..." Ace muttered as he watched the tip of the Dragon's tail disappear with the rest of him. "He's a deceptively skilled climber...first the tree and now a cliff face, and he's gotten all the way up in just a couple of seconds..."

"So whose going with who?" Vincent asked, oblivious to the pondering of the Taillow. "I'm fine partnering up with anyone, so it's up to you guys to choose really."

"Roy here is bound to do something....unwise if no one's around to watch him." Ace evaluated, winging his way over and landing atop the fighting types head. "So I guess my decision is made. Have fun, you two..."

"Then I guess it's you and me then," Vincent said, turning to Sparks. "You guys ready? He's probably waiting on us to start by now..."

"Hell yeah we're ready!!" Roy shouted a little overly enthusiastic, fist pumping the air and letting out a whoop before charging off down the corridor, Ace having to take off from the fool's head and fly behind him in order to keep up. "Let's go get that bitch and get my donuts back!"

"Damn it, Roy!!" Was all they could hear Ace say as they disappeared...

Vincent just shook his head as the cloud of dust worked up by the Timburr's charge finally cleared. "Well... can't say I'm surprised. at least he's eager though." He then widened his own stance and began glowing in a hazy red light for a brief moment, charging down the hallway himself as it faded and quickly returned just seconds later as he concentrated harder on the move, giving him a double charge as he called back to Sparks

"Come on, you know the plan!"

((He learned Workup from leveling up from the monster house. currently at +2 Attack and Special Attack))

He nodded in response, "Right away, Vince." He responded as he charged down the corridor after the Lillipup, after seeing the hazy red glow, 'Hopefully this goes as planned..' ran through his mind as he tried to subdue any doubt that was coming to him, messing up this plan would surely bring out Draidon's rage from the failure and no one wanted to see that beast more enraged than he already would be around electric types.

"I should have no problem with that," Artemis replied, although there is a tinge of disappointment laced in her words. She wouldn't mind getting to know this Lanturn a little more, since he is the most agreeable authoritative figure in this castle so far. "What about you, Otto and Mac? Do you need anything else from Depth before we leave?"
