Otto consumed the Reviver Seed, and it worked its magic, waking him. As he opened his eyes, he let out a barely audible groan.

"uhn..."

Otto sat up and looked around.

"What the heck just ha-"

He then noticed the Swablu, and stood up.

"Did you just revive me? If so, I am quite grateful. The last thing I remember is getting the life squeezed out of me by a Dragonair..."

he then noticed a small weight was missing from his shoulder.

huh?

Otto looked around on the floor, eventually locating the Bag he was missing. Otto looked inside of it, and found the Glass Orb, the Wonder Badge, and the Wonder Map. He took out the Wonder Map and unfolded it. when he saw what it labeled his current Location as, he mused to himself quietly.

"Brine Cave, huh? So I was right about where I thought I was, after all."

Otto then folded up the Wonder Map and put it back in the Bag, and looked towards the Swablu.

"My apologies, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Otto. Who are you?"

Artemis cocked her head to one side, observing the other's reactions as he was revived. "It looks like I was right... Lucky me. Unfortunately, it also means that my mission isn't complete, but that can come later."

She adjusted herself ever so slightly so that she has a view of the corridor and the Oshawott, Otto.

"I'm Artemis. You're lucky I found a Reviver Seed shortly before. Otherwise, you would have been a goner." The Swablu glanced at the bag that Otto has. "Are you from a Rescue or an Exploration castle? I have only seen Pokemon with those bags if one is from one of the 4 castles." As evidence, she pointed to her small one around her tiny frame. "I recently joined Seacrest, which explains why I am here."

"Artemis, to tell you the truth, I-"

Otto was interrupted when the Dragonair decided to check up on the status of her most recent Catch, only to find two Pokemon instead of one when she entered the Room.

"So, you weren't the only Trespasser? Looks like I'll have to teach you both a lesson in manners..."

Otto was a little startled by the Dragonair's sudden appearance, and quickly turned around. Then, Otto quickly realized that it was the same Dragonair from before.

"Not you again..."

"Yes, me again."

Otto shuddered, and then he turned and spoke to Artemis.

"I'll have to tell you later, but for now, let's get out of here. On the count of three, we run."

He then turned back towards the Dragonair.

"One!"

the Dragonair prepared to attack, becoming surrounded in blue light.

"Two!"

Otto readied himself to launch off a Trump Card, as Plates of red Energy materialized around him.

"THREE!"

As the Dragonair rushed at Otto, he lobbed the red Plates of Energy at it. the Dragon Rush and Trump Card collided, creating a large explosion and covering the area in smoke. Otto rushed past the Dragonair, and it just barely missed hitting him with its' tail (Slam).

Sparks gazed up towards the sky, but he was adjusting his vision onto Ace, "Ace, can you see Mt. Horn from here?" He called, wondering what the flying type could see within his field of vision as the trio continued to head towards the dungeon, 'I'm certain i can get him to change his mind about certain Electric types.' He mumbled under his breath.

(Pulse doesn't really like company very much, so... maybe they'll just bump into each other later on XD or y'know, if an enemy too powerful comes by)

Just passing by? Well, okay then. The Skorupi seemed to want to leave, and she noticed that he seemed to be on edge. She, too, watched warily as he walked past, her eyes never blinking once. Okay. No. That was too hard. She blinked. It was hard keeping her eyes open for so long-- it was a bad habit of hers. After shaking her head furiously while blinking, something slammed into her from behind-- a Cranidos had entered the room, looking triumphant at his successful attack.

Only to be slammed back with psychic energy, sending it reeling. The Cranidos started walking aimlessly, teetering and tottering, attacking the air around it randomly, as Pulse dusted herself off while standing up.

"D'ya think I could get a bit of help...?" Oh god, strong Beautifly incoming. "Don't worry Roy, I'm on it!" He jumped at the Beautifly, sparks flying over his electrified teeth. He bit the Beautifly with his Thunder Fang, then let go, but apparently it was still flying. "Oh shi-" was the only thing he could say before another Gust sent Vincent flying as well. "Aah...Roy, can you try to stand up and...run?"

((I'm assuming endure works like it did in the games, where it lasts a few turns))

"One second man, I gots an Idea" Building up his energy once again, Roy rushed forward and released his Superpower once more " ULTRA POWERFUL DESTRUCTION SLAM DOWN!" He roared slamming the beautifly down to the ground and then grabbing a hefty rock and plopping it down on top of it's wings, though there was no lasting damage. "Now... RUN!" And with that Roy rushed off to where the stairs were, hoping Vincent would follow.

As Roy slammed the Beautifly away, he yelled out to Vincent and started running away. "I'll join you right away!" He turned back to the Beautifly, and let out his Noble Roar to lower the attacking stats of the Bug type. Then he started running too. When he caught up to Roy, panting because of the running, he asked: "Do you...huff... remember where you...huff...saw the staircase?"

Draidon cast one last confused Glance at Sparks before dashing off after the small bird. It was painfully obvious that he was still very much on the fence about his opinion towards a certain type, but also obvious that he was very much skeptical that this new found doubt could be true. His face had shown a mix of confusion and conflicting logic, not that Sparks would've had a long enough glimpse to be able to see that...

The cat-like Pokemon watched carefully, approaching the confused Cranidos step forward and lunge forward recklessly. As soon as it stopped, Pulse moved in and tackled it, taking the item it was holding (the rock-type fell over as a result, still dizzy). She'd check it out later-- glancing quickly at the Skorupi, she made a beeline for the exit of the room and disappeared into another corridor. Pokemon in here were a lot tougher than she was, for sure; after all she was only, admittedly, a rookie. If you couldn't beat your opponent for sure, there was nothing shameful in a tactical retreat.

Smoke ahead. That couldn't be good. Upon entering the open room, Mac saw three characters: two foreign, one native. An Oshawott and a Swablu were faced with the threat of the native Dragonair. Swablu appeared critically injured, but the familiar badge on them appeared to be Seacrest's. Without knowing them, Mac knew they were allies.

And so, he aligned himself to the foe and dashed incredibly fast- faster than before, slashing the Dragonair as he looped back around, grabbing its attention, and dealing moderate damage. Perhaps a quarter of its endurance was taken out.

But he was losing health quick. The Tentacool's poison had Mac in a weakened state. He was strongest offensively here, but most susceptible to fainting. The Dragonair turned towards Mac, meeting eye to eye. He could make only one move before the foe attacked. It was too strong. He dashed diagonally to the Dragonair towards the stairs with a Quick Attack, taking more damage from the poison. He couldn't last much longer.
"Move it!" Mac shouted to the two, preparing to throw them at the stairs with a Hurl Orb he found a while back.

"H-hey, don't leave me behind, you two." He claimed with a bit of a stutter as he jolted after them, managing to catch up to them with a moderately paced stride as they were nearing the base of Mt. Horn from Ace's surveillance from the sky,

As Artemis flew after Otto, she saw a white whirlwind sped right into the Dragonair and back in front of them. Upon closer inspection, she noticed that the whirlwind was an injured Zangoose with a... Seacrest badge. "Oh, good, a teammate!" So, despite being told to get to the staircase (for their own good), Artemis decided to stay put and fight that nasty dragon.

"Hey! Wait up, Otto! He's an ally!" Artemis called as she flew towards the Zangoose. Noticing his state, she offered an Oran Berry to him. "Here, you need this more than I do. I'll stall it out as much as I can." With that, she flew towards Dragonair and delivered a swift Peck to stop the opponent in its track.

Nearly ready to hurl the two, Mac was relieved that the Swablu had an Oran Berry. They hurled it at him, and he immediately ate it, energized at once. He turned, facing the Dragonair, seeing Swablu peck it. The three of them could take it out with their combined damage.
"Yo! Otto!" he called, looking back, hoping he heard the name correctly. "Catch!" Mac hurled his Power Band towards the Oshawott as his way to ask for assistance. In the time he took to throw it, both Dragonair and Otto had a chance to make a move.

Jake gave up on trying to enter deeper into the castle, and decided to move on into a dungeon to explore. Nearby was the treeshroud forest, so he decided to go there to train, and hopefully find food.

Upon entering, he saw an apple. He picked it up and ate the whole thing quickly. He looked up however, a very angry kirlia stood there... Apparently it wanted the apple...

"Oh sh*t... Uhh... Here?" Jake handed the kirlia the core, which threw it into a tree with psychic.

"So... Uhhh... Can we talk this out? Maybe... With some apples? Or uhhh..." It stared furiously and then struck Jake with confusion, but to no avail.

"Alright! My turn! Jake used his leer attack, and the kirlia used its basic attack, hurting Jake a good bit. Jake used his play rough, and the kirlia was about to go down. Jake took another basic move, hanging on the best he could, and then used scratch, ending the skirmish.

"Man... This might have not been the best plan... But I can't turn back now!"

Just moving made his body ache, and he flinched, so he decided to sit and rest for a bit, and then kept going.

Jory froze up as he heard a rustle in the underbrush below him. He'd been picking his way through the forest's canopy for the better part of an hour. He leapt to the next branch, and seeing light peering through the leaves on his tree, continued forward. His head poked out into a clearing and he watched a Mudkip all but fly into the water near him. He took the rolled up map and orb out of his map and looked down at them. Over the past hour, he'd realized that the map he had was somehow directing him toward a large red dot. Suddenly, it all became clear as an Exeggutor came into view. This Pokemon is trying to hurt that Mudkip! Didn't one of the other humans turn into one of those? The human-turned-Pokemon leapt into action, jumping onto the Exeggutor's head. "Leave her alone!" he shouted, his tail beginning to glow as he used it to slap one of the tree Pokemon's many faces.

Otto faced the Dragonair, and the Dragonair faced towards Mac.

The Dragonair prepared to launch off a Dragon Rush at the weakened Zangoose, while Otto readied himself to make a move. As soon as the Dragonair started to rush towards Mac, Otto's Indigo markings glowed, he pointed one Paw at the Dragonair, launched off a Blue Sphere at it, and the Dragonair got hit right in the head by the Sphere (Aura Sphere). Otto then looked at his Paws, smiling.

Whoa, did i just do that?! COOL!

Otto then heard Mac yell to him to catch something, and caught the Power Band that Mac threw to him. Otto yelled back to Mac.

"Thanks, man!"

He then aimed at the Dragonair, who was trying to use Wrap on Mac, and threw a Geo Pebble at the Dragonair.

"Hey, Snake-boy! Over here!"

The Dragonair got hit by the Geo Pebble, and turned in Otto's direction, clearly miffed at having been interrupted.

"You're going to regret that..."

the Orb on its' neck then glowed, and it launched off a Cyclone at Otto (Dragon Rage). Otto responded to the Statement the Dragonair had made.

"I Think Not!"

And he then launched off another Aura Sphere at the Dragon Rage. The two Moves collided, canceling out.

When Mac used ESpeed on the Dragonair, it was sent flying towards Otto. While it was in midair, Otto prepared to use his Scalchop to hit the Dragonair. As he grabbed his Scalchop from his chest, it was surrounded by a Blue Glow, which extended itself and solidified (Razor Shell). Otto then hit the Dragonair with the flat of the Scalchop, as if it were a Baseball Bat.

WHAM!

the Scalchop knocked the Dragonair into a wall, where it left an indent across the one Otto had made earlier, and it fell to the ground, unconscious. As Otto's Scalchop returned to normal, Otto yelled at the fallen Dragonair, panting.

"And stay down!"

Otto then headed towards Mac after he put his Scalchop back on his chest.

"Thanks, man, Artemis and I would've been goners had you not shown up. You already know my name, so what's yours?"

((murdoc, you're at the entrance to Mt.Horn already, right?))

Draidon slowed down to a jog and then stopped completely as the gaping entry way to the mountain loomed up before him. He wasn't scared of this place, hell, he had hiked up it last night, and then back down it this morning... though, to be fair, almost every enemy he had come across during both trips hadn't stood a chance against a few hits from his Fire Fang attack.

"Where'd you go, Tailow?" he called out to Ace, referring to him by his kind since he didn't actually know his name.

Jake heard a noise coming from the another small room on the floor he was on. He wanted to check it out, but he felt as though it could be an enemy. He cautiously approached the area he heard the noise from through a dark narrow passage. Upon reaching the spot where he heard the sound, he walked into a clearing where... A pokemon... Was smacking another in the face? A second pokemon was there too, but it looked terrified. Jake decided maybe it was a good idea to help, so he jumped out of the shadows.

"Hey! Need some assistance?"

He used leer, not sure of how these two pokemon he met would react, but that's not what mattered. They needed help!

"Draidon," The Druddigon answered. "So... I'm guessing that the three of us all just joined Tempest?" he glanced around, noticing that the... jolteon was not there.

"Speaking of which," he continued. "where'd that electro-frea...." he stopped himself for some reason. He honestly didn't know why he all of a sudden had second thoughts about referring to the Jolteon from earlier as that; he had been calling every other electric type he'd ever met that... something about what he had said though...could it actually be true? that not all of em were like that? All his life, Draidon had only ever seen evidence that it wasn't... he'd need to see some serious proof otherwise before he started considering it. But He had a strange feeling about that one...

"I mean," he corrected himself, grumbling a little. "where'd the other guy go."
