Bullet
[Scarf] [Braviary] (M/F) @ [Choice Scarf] Trait: [Encourage] EVs: [252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defense] [Nature] Adamant - Brave Bird - U-Turn - Frustration - Superpower [A good, solid scarf Pokémon. Brave Bird is ridculously powerful when Super Effective, though the recoil will make you want to use Frustration when both are at neutral damage. Superpower hits Rocks, Steels, and some other Pokémon particulary hard, though the stat lowering make you especially prone to revenge killing, so switching afterwards is recommended. Finally, U-Turn is the move that any scarfer dreams of, an excellent scouting move that racks up Super Effective damage on a number of Pokémon.]

Shanco
I Got The Powa! Braviary (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Sheer Force EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Pluck - Rock Slide - Sky Attack - Roost This eagle has a reason to be jolly. The little-known glitch of the 5th gen games allows pokemon with Sheer Force to not be hurt by a Life Orb when using an attack affected by the ability, which is downright amazing. How amazing? Let's take Pluck. Pluck has an underwhelming 60 base power. Sheer Force adds the 33% boost, giving it 80 power while discarding its useless side effect. The Life Orb gives it another 30%, bolstering its power to 104. Then, STAB takes it to 156 base power. Then there's Rock Slide for all of Braviary's jealous flying haters, as well as Ice-types while dealing fancy enough neutral damage to Electrics, including Electivire, at that 130 base power. Then...there's sk-sk-Sky Attack, wh-which pumps out 390 BASE POWER!!!Wow, if you can get that 2-turn attack off, is it ever worth the wait. Oh, and Sheer Force, from my understanding, doesn't negate the high crit-hit chance of Sky Attack, but Sheer Force uses the flinching chance instead. Add all that to Braviary's 345 attack and...yikes. What you need to remember about this attack is that there is a time to use it. Abuse it, and Braviary will go down quickly. Use it only in the first or second turn or as a revenge-kill tactic. This will either catch the unsuspecting opponent off guard while he/she sets up Stealth Rock or something similar, or force him/her to switch something in that can either outspeed it or take one for the team and make them try to come back with something else. Braviary's defenses are frail. There's no way to avoid it - he will take a hit. Thankfully, there's [s]an app[/s] a recovery move for that, Roost. It's also useful if the glitch of preventing Life Orb damage doesn't transfer over to Pokemon Online (which I have not tested). Shanco
TRY THIS! Trick Room Team Braviary Braviary (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Sheer Force EVs: 52 HP / 252 Atk / 100 Def / 100 SDef Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Pluck / Thrash - Rock Slide - Sky Attack / Brave Bird - Roost / Hone Claws The above set modified for use in the Trick Room. Braviary is viable on a Trick Room team because its Speed is okay. The lowest it can get is 148, and it's not like most people run those teams, so more often than not, your Braviary will move first under Trick Room conditions. Switch Pluck for Thrash, Roost for Hone Claws (not just for Rock Slide, but for all of the attacks), and/or Sky Attack for Brave Bird if you're cool with all-out risky business. At least you can still choose Roost to help you should you choose the risky attacks, and no pokemon who doesn't have a death wish banks on your Braviary using Roost at any one time unless absolutely necessary.
