PokeNations: Unbalanced Nation Members

I'm not one to beat around the bush. While every other nation is struggling to find members to put on a roster each week, Apophyll is sitting in its corner with 19 members that would all like to receive more play time, but can't do to all the members we have. Within that last couple weeks, Roo has given us every single new PN member that appears in the sign up thread when we ALREADY have the most members. I don't get it. So I suggest dispersing some of the extra members of Apophyll to other nations.

Not true. Members are randomly assigned a Nation. I've watched this closely. We have done a better job at making our members more aware of the situation, and thus, our members are active.

Another solution though, is to remove Apophyll from the pecking order, and I do believe that is already in place as of right now.

This means that eventually, member counts for other nations will match ours. Not the fast fix, but it means we can keep our members while everything balances out.

You, eh?

What is it, you don't like us or something? I do agree that dispersing some of us would be -faster- but it wouldn't really be needed because sign ups are always open. All that really needs to be done is Apophyll needs to be locked out of the draft.

I like to participate and I was on schedual to play this week and the BAM we get 7 new people. We have the most people competing for a roster spot every week and other nations don't have this so it makes sense. Nation sign ups aren't a reliable way to solve this problem because we could have a "drought" so to speak of new members so it makes more sense to move players.

It -sounds- like you're just mad that your going to get bumped off the roster, so you want to use the fact that other nations are struggling to fill their rosters as a crutch to see more playing time.

If that's the case, I would try resigning from Apophyll and then trying to sign up again. There is not even a competition for a roster spot. We put who hasn't gone first, and then after all of us have gone, Wolf makes a decision.

Really, thread should read "I want to be in less populated nation so I can compete more". It's okay to be selfish, and nobody is going to think wrongly of you for speaking up.

But I want to hear from someone higher up that that is allowed, I've voiced this multiple times before and nothing has come of it. And there are other reasons (that are also "selfish") that I'm not gonna bother bringing up. So yeah can someone confirm that I'm allowed to switch to a different nation or am I stuck in Apophyll?

If you want to hear from a higher up, Message Kiozo.

@ Sonic. I think Ntm is more of a solo competitor and cares more about his own participation than the team's. He would rather win his matches and get more of them than be a part of a large nation that prevents him from competing very often.

To be fair, the official battles are much less often now than they were in league, I hate saying that because league left some big shoes and it's somewhat unfair to compare nations to league, and some people preferred how you could just hop on alongside the schedule and have an awesome battle. If someone is coming from that, the serious drop in Prestigous battles, for lack of a better word, could make it less enjoyable and give them a motive to seek more battles, which is restricted by having to wait your turn.

Regardless of reasons why you want to switch, we decided early on that swapping nations wasn't a thing we'd allow at the time. That decision was taken because we wanted nations to all be under the same disadvantage of being chosen through RNG as opposed to the possibility that all of the stronger players might decide to be in one nation and trounce the rest.

I understand that you might not agree with how your nation works and that's nobody's fault considering how the nation chooses its roster was already decided, but we can't allow you to switch nations at this time.
