Top o' the mornin' to ya. No, I'm not from England. Sorry.

Anywho, stuff about me. Um. I've beaten Pokemon Reborn, or what's been released, anyway. Funnily enough, I always struggled with what was supposed to be easy, but found the "challenges" easy. That Strength Puzzle in the Wasteland? Piece of cake. Noel? Give Explosion Golem a Quick Claw and Cotton Candy, and you've got yourself a win. On the other hand, Chrysolia Forest was a nightmare, and so was that Crustle puzzle. As for battles, Shelly, Shade and Sampson were the hardest for me (the latter won with a Hawlucha and crazy good luck).

As for my current plans for Reborn, I'm gonna get a Golurk and a Quagsire. (I'd like a Lucario, but... ;_;) I'm also gonna EV train Jolteon so I can nuke the Flying gym leader.

Currently I've got a Swampert, Houndoom, Golem, Garedvoir, Clefable, and Accelgor. Golurk will likely end up replacing Clefable, Quagisre will replace Swampert, and...yeah. The only EV trained one of the bunch is Gardevoir, with 252 Sp. Attack and 252 Speed. Modest Nature.

As for non-Reborn stuff, I have a cat and a self-proclaimed good sense of humor. I am making my own game, but it's a long way off, and I have a blog which you can check out in my signature.

I like MLP: FiM, but it's far from the greatest show. I have a Mono-White deck for Magic: the Gathering (and I kick butt with it, too). My current favorite TV show is Hunter x Hunter. I don't watch football. I prefer fried chicken to pizza. I don't have a 3DS, but my favorite game is either Cave Story or The World Ends With you. I have been known to make horrible puns. Have one.

What's Hitler's breakfast food of choice?

Luftwaffles.

And, uh, yeah. That's about it, I guess. Cool. I dunno how often I'm going to be posting around here, but I figured I may as well get this introduction out of the way. Catch ya on the flip! (See, it's funny because you "catch" Pokemon, and this forum is...yeah nevermind.)

Welcome, you fella. Is great to meet a fan of FiM who does not think is the greatest thing ever. Also you won the price for longest and most complete introduction posts I've seen so far (and I've seen 5 introduction posts!). So you're gonna get the committee tellin' ya to abandon your sanity and stuff and become mad, mad, MAD! That'll happen soon...

And seeing you want a lucario, maybe you can get one by going back to ep 9 or either trying your luck in the trading service thread.

+1 for being a Potato Mage

+1 for having a Houndoom

+1 for procrastination

I like you already C:

Since the welcoming wagon doesn't appear to be up and raring to greet yet, lemme have the honor of stating the typical Reborn guidelines:

1. Lose dat sanity

2. Have fun here ~

3. Check out PokeNations if you're willing to commit to it (apparently there's a frikton of people who've signed up who don't fulfill their duties, so)

4. COME OVER TO THE RP FORUM WE GOTS STORIES HUEHUE

5. Feel free to screw around Onyx Arcade

6. Lose dat sanity

7. Potato

Oh yes, and pulverize that sanity or we'll do it for you. Spam the mods (Tempest, Pineapple, err who was that other one?) with questions if you must and mess with Ame and other members.

... I'm out of smart-sounding things to say. Here's an art I made

I'm so sorry.

And dat art. DAT ART.

@zimvader42 thanks! Dunno if I'll do the trading system thing, but it's good to know about!

@Arkhidon did you make that song yourself? 'Cause if you did, you should be sellin' that.

You guys sure do know how to make someone feel welcome. And/or insane.

"Sanity is not a thing you lose. Insanity is simply a thing you gain - an achievement, something to be proud of. Rubber rooms are cool."

lol jk, welcome.
You seem pretty chill, i like that.
And about Ark, he just tends to give a theme song to new members based on his first impressions. While he may be in a band it's usually music from other people.
i'll forgive your lucario because you like hunter x hunter and you also have a houndoom.

@Telos...why the Luke hate? The best thing you can do in game is catch a Lucario, name it Anakin, then force it to have a child and name that child Luke. (And now that I think about it, twins hatching from a pokemon egg...would be the best thing ever. Free pokemon!) 'Scool, though, as long as there isn't any Quagsire hate.

@Amethyst Boop. Basically, it's about a kid who has to get through this life-or-death game a la Hunger Games/The World Ends With You. If he loses, he dies, if he wins, then he lives. But in order to win, he has to outdo all of his friends, and more or less kill them. ('Course, you don't actually have to kill them in game, they die because you're better at helping people.) As for genre, I guess it'd be an RPG, but gameplay is slightly different than your typical RPG, so I don't exactly know. And the battle system is...complicated. Made with RPG Maker VX Ace. And I'm suffering from the game-making procrastinaion blues over here, which I'm sure you're familiar with.

if you haven't figured it out yet, I ramble. :/

Welcome to Reborn, a land where sanity is sooooooo 2001 and insanity is the new black.

A good sense of quirkiness. Check

Played the game. Check

Potato Mage. Double Check

You'll fit in just fine good sir. As long as you don't weak up the sleeping bearicho's, you'll make it out alive.

Howdy Pardner! While I don't exactly kick butt at M:TG, I do love running Dimir.....

Few things I suppose, Zeph up there pretty much got most of it, and due to your progress in the game, I'm sure most of it may not even apply to you.

1. There are two ways you can go about asking your questions around these parts.

- You can create a thread (for example, in Reborn City if it's a game related question), and allow the community to find your answer and help you out.

- Or you may private message Sheep, Vinny, or myself. I'm sure the other two guys will turn up and say hello eventually.

2. Stop by the Reborn server on Pokemon Online. You can get to it by clicking Reborn Chat in the right-hand menu of this site, or by downloading PO. The server serves as the chatroom for our community,

3. After checking out PO (and I would suggest doing that beforehand) you -can- sign up for PokeNations if you want a unique weekly competitive experience (that may or may not require a small amount of weekly attention, depending on the Nation you get placed in.) The rules are unique each week, and it can potentially be enjoyable regardless of competitive skill level.

4. (obligatory comment about leaving your sanity at the door here)

5. Don't lean on a cactus. It's pointy.

Please do enjoy your stay....because uh.....it's hard getting out of here.

Horrible Puns? I like you already!!!!

Heyo and welcome to Reborn good sir! I am Hukuna Sensei, master of Stories here at Reborn. I think somebody said it already, but check out the RP forums if you get the chance and read along, we would greatly appreciate it. If you have any questions about it.....PM me I don't bite. ((because Crunch has higher base power silly)).

Anyways, enjoy your stay here at Reborn, I am sure you will fit in nicely around here.

Did you do your own art?

I actually didn't draw those pictures. My art skills are horrible. I did color edit the hair to green, but that's all.

I've never played 999, so I don't quite understand the intricacies of the Nonary Game, but I suppose it's a bit like it. What makes it a bit different from your standard Life or Death game is that there are party crashers that aren't playing but join in anyway.

I'd give ya'll a demo, but while there's technically enough content to actually have some semblance of completeness, it's in no state to play yet. :( (Since we all know Reborn has episodes, I'd be developing somewhere around episode 4-ish. Maybe. I have no idea. I've finished about a quarter of it, but all the fun stuff happens later down the line.)

I don't think I'll do any competitive stuff yet. After all, I'm the guy with the Level 98 Charizard that couldn't beat Agatha. (It's...a long story.) But thanks for telling me in case my interests shift! :D

< likes long stories.

Well all right then.

So I'm playin' Pokemon for the first time ever as a kid. I pick Charmander, because he's the best one, right? Right. So I decide I'm gonna do some level grinding. At the very end of Viridian forest, I've got myself a Charmeleon, and just before my battle with Lt. Surge I've got a Charizard (which, by the way, might have been one of the most satisfying battles of pokemon ever. One-shotting 6 pokemon with Flamethrower just can't be beat). Now, I'm going through the game, gettin' all these spiffy new HMs - Fly, Rock Smash, Strength, and Cut. Why these four, you ask? Well, these are the moves I taught to my Charizard. I had no idea it was possible to delete HMs until later, so I'm just sittin' there, with a level 98 Charizard, gettin' creamed by Agatha (Cut, Strength, and Rock Smash had no effect on her Pokemon). Since I never really got any other Pokemon (Would you?), I restarted the game with more than one tear in my eye. Of course, I catch more Pokemon and reserve HMs for my non-Charizard weaklings, but I also don't grind nearly as much. I still win. And it was glorious.

That is, until I discovered that there was someone who could delete HMs for you in Fuchsia City. Then I was sad again. (Of course, TMs weren't relearnable then, so I would've been kinda hard pressed for options, but still.)
