Lost Lore
You can also headbutt Combee out of trees and steal their Honey, you know... or get something with Honey Gather, but that could take quite a while. I don't know if Nyu is supposed to take Oran Berries, but he does take ice cream and candy.

Chacal
Snubbull, zigzagoon, scraggy are some pokemons that learn headbutt by leveling up. Catch some combees and they will give you the honey you need just for walking around. Plus you can also sell the extra honey, if you run out of cash ! Xiri
Sort of off-topic but... how does the Honey mechanic actually work? I've put honey on the trees, and I forwarded my clock 3 days - but no Pokemon have appeared. So I'm guessing this is not how it works right? Sheep
You don't need to change your clock. Just wait literally like 1 minute with the tree offscreen. You'll need to be in game though, then the Heracross and Pinsir will appear.

It should still work even if you leave the northern/southern forest and just hang out on route 1.
