PokéNations Roster Thread - Week Seven!

Hey all! Welcome to PokéNations - Week Seven

For this challenge, each pokémon must be fully evolved (and must be able to evolve, so no Mawile for example) and must have at least 2 attacking moves and at least one move marked as "Other". This is because no elitist would ever dare stack 4 attacking or non-attacking moves on one pokémon and an elitist always picks the best form of a pokémon over one that would be "inferior" (read: not fully evolved).

Next, all IVs must be maxed out (the elitist never reduces IVs for any reason) and all EV spreads must be 252/252/4 (the elitist would settle for nothing less).

(This means only legal Hidden Power is Dark)

Finally, no "useless" items can be used for any reason (so no items that reduce your stats, can only use a type booster if you have a move of that type, can only put a mega stone on the pokémon that can use it, you cannot use a toxic orb to poison yourself, a flame orb to burn yourself, and you cannot use Choice items because that would lock you into one move. and Assault Vest prevents you from using "Other" moves)

The matchups are as follows!

Haven vs Ruin - playing NU

Volcanic vs Apophyll - playing UU

Aurora vs Mythic - playing OU

The clauses are as follows and pretty standard: Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, Species Clause, and Self-KO Clause. If you would like to battle with additional clauses, that is between battlers to discuss.

So, you've got until Sunday at 11:59 PM EST in order to submit rosters. Matchups will be posted soon after. You will have exactly one week to complete all matches from the time they are posted. Rosters will include 5 people to play matches and 2 reserve members in case a participant cannot play.

A note: someone asked me if a pokémon with forms is banned does that mean all of it, yes that means all of it

Exactly. Some pokemon have nothing in the 'other' section worth using, by the way. Also, many pokemon are unfit for a 252/252/4 spread. (most people with half a mind running a tank would push into at least 3 stats significantly, if not more.)

Regardless, this is certainly an interesting challenge; finding pokemon to use that meet the criteria and still maintain practical efficiency may be difficult. I hope to see many....shall we say, exotic pokemon, especially considering the tier stipulations.

Why are those pokemon banned, by the way?

It's a holdover from the original challenge concept, which was deemed unworkable.
