    I am here to bring you News regarding some updates for the World of Digimon.

    For years, there has been one universal truth of the Digimon Reborn region.

    "Lag."

    Many Elite Gaymers have left constructive criticism regarding this lag. 

    Very constructive criticism.

    So today, we here at Real Namco HQ decided to look into this "lag". A video below shows our findings.

    This video is annotated as follows:
    We observe our hero, [well known Digimon Protagonist], walking the streets of Calcenon. The weather outside is currently made out of snow, a form of precipitation created when nature gives you the cold shoulder.

    [Well known Digimon Protagonist], enjoying this weather, proceeds to run incredibly quickly at a brisk pace of 120FPS1. After a brief run, [well known Digimon Protagonist] (who we will now refer to as Ash) decides to sneak inside of the Calcenon gym, glancing behind her to make sure that no one is watching before entering.

    Ash carefully steps into the gym. After a few cautious steps, she realizes that, unlike Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, No One Is Here™ and decides to sprint around Charlotte's arena at a brisk 80FPS. Not wanting to leave the lower levels untouched, she proceeds to run around them as well. The video abruptly cuts off because I decided to stop recording.

     

    As you can clearly see from this video, there is No Lag2! Such criticism can now be permanently put to rest.

    1: FPS is actually a real unit of measurement for velocity and does not indicate anything else about Ash's movement

    2: Our marketing department insists that, though there is clearly some lag in the video, we state it does not exist. We apologize for lying.

    just as a disclaimer, this is an early build of MKXP we're trying out and we still don't know what kind of issues this could create in the long term. if it ends up hella breaking shit there is a chance this may not fully happen, but as of now it's looking pretty promising. just don't take this as a guarantee quite yet.

    Hella nice. I've used the Uranium version of MKXP, and it can get a bit funky in regards to how you name the file. Are you going to have two downloads for Reborn, one being the "normal" one and the other MKXP?

    I was thinking why there wasn't any updates, and here you give us an answer.

    Thank to all the staff working on this. It seems that this build of MXKP is good for less lag. I'm impressed.

    If you’re using MKXP-Z, if you had any Unicode characters in the folder’s (or any folder the folder was in) name, stuff like hyphens, it would just not work. I don’t think this is a problemo with MKXP itself, so if you’re using that things should be fine.

    oh, interesting. we'll have to keep an eye out for that. that said, ideally i would like to be able to just ship a legacy version of the application (as it is now) with it, but i don't know if that will be feasible.

    Hurray, now my Agumon wont bug out and not digivolve in Calcenon city so I can fight Charlotte's team of Fire Attribute Data Digimon for the Plugin for the Trainer ID

    It's part of a puzzle. You can get there in Episode 18.

    this mean the game on the new engine release before EP19?

    and if so, that means the game will be the same.

    or there will be a number of changes that made in the EP19
